Windows 95/98/ME Setup
Step by step instructions on how to setup your computer to connect to Dialup For Free.

Step 1
Double-click on the "My Computer" icon on your dektop.

Double-click on the "Dial-Up Networking" icon.

Double-click on the "Make New Connection" icon.

Step 4
In the wizard that opens, type Dial In Free as the name of the computer that you are dialing. Select your modem from the dropdown box (Note: the default selection is usually correct) then click on the "Next" button.

Step 5
Leave the area code field blank and enter your local access number for DialupForFree then click on the "Next" button. Then click on the "Finish" button to create the new DialupForFree.com icon.

Step 6
Click on the "Dialup For Free" icon to launch the dialup access window.

Step 7
Enter the following information as shown:

User-name: Enter your username.
Password: Enter your password.
Save Password: If you would like Windows to save your password, then check the "Save Password" check box.

Finally, click the "Connect" button and your machine should connect to Dial In Free and you are ready to open Internet Explorer and surf.
